What is the meaning?  Of this seemingly random photo?  What is life?  Society?  Anything ever?

Nevando

Trying to take pictures through a screen when it's dark and cold outside is pretty hard.
This one came out pretty sharp though.  I only wish I could find a way to capture the snowflakes in the sky but they weren't big enough.

Also, a quick note:
My photography class at Parson's is ending this week but I'm still going to update.  I'm also working on a new project.

Mtepestuous

I saw this crazy cloud behind my friend's head while we were at a club.  And I was like, "i must capture this moment using my photographic device."  So I called my dad and made him bring it to my school so I could take some bad pics.  True dedication.

Silhouettes

So dark so sharp.

Is the little pine tree thingy in the upper right corner a distraction?

So sharp.

Shu

Look at that crisp silhouette!  Can I cry?

I was taking pictures by sitting on top of a slide and I had to get down.  So I was like, I will take a cool photographo.

As usual Blogger thinks it's cute to skew the colors

 The clouds look super bizzare.

I was experimenting with different shutter speeds to illuminate the bushes and stuff at the bottom more, but that's just icing.  I picked this one because you can see the sky the best, which is the real thing that we're looking at.

Treace

Sometimes I just get this feeling when I look at something, and it feels like I can look at it and the way it makes my heart feels is a hundred miles for a hundred years, like I look at it and I just get all of these feelings suspended above my head and the only word I can put on it is real.  That it is real.  This photo is real.

I really love and appreciate vertical photos.  Vertical photos are the reason I hold on.  I keep on saying "the reason I hold on" today because I really like Fifth Harmony's cover of stay.

Like?? How can something be so glorious and still exist on planet earth?

I think the variation in this photo is really fascinating.

Probably the reason I like this one is because of the color of the clouds.

Something that is not a tree

Allyce can take pictures of things that aren't trees?  Wow.

Trees and stuff

There is nice contrast of thick branches and thin branches and shapes and colors in this photo.  Gud job allyce.

That house really obstructs this photo.  I thought it woudl look cool but I was pretty wrong.  It's so obstructive.  It's like a loaf of sad bread.

It was hard to decide how to capture this liney thing (like the two trees, and then the road going all the way done) because there were just so many ways to do it.  But I did it!  Also I will never forget this corner because once when I was six I saw a black guy and a white girl kissing on that corner and at that point I didn't realize that that even happened in the real world so I was like : O

The weird thing about depth of field is that they say "shallow" depth of the field in a photo like this where most of the back is out of focus, but to me it feels so much deeper because there are so many layers of focused and unfocused.  And then there's "deep" depth of field which actually feels shallow to me because everything is in focus; it's like one layer.

I was playing with putting the branches in back in focus instead of these front ones.  I really like that kind of thing with the holes and whatever.

I swear I took this exact photo before in one of my first posts.  Because the branches just frame the sky so perfectly!  Back then I could go outside and take photos without putting on a bunch of layers and thick leather gloves with fleece inside.  I really miss summer and I can't believe that I actually wanted it to end.

This photo is cool to me, but I feel like I should have cropped part of that tree out so it didn't compete so much with the tiny little in focus branch.

This tree looks like copper!  So pretty.

Windows

I had literally just finished breakfast, not even brushed my teeth yet.  I looked out the window and the sky looked awesome.  But I really did not want to go outside with sugar decaying up my teeth and all cold and just woken up.  So I did some photos from the window in my living room.  And man1  I love how things look through screens!  It's so magical I could explode.  Isn't this like the coolest thing you've seen in your entire life?

It was nice to get a different POV of the things I shoot all the time.

Instead of going outside during the day I ate pie

So by the time I was ready to be master photographer it was dark and night.  So I took pictures of my computer.

Put my hand..on the music video....for "Mirrors"....Justin Timberlake....You know what?  this one doesn't actually loook like a computer.  It looks like film.  Isn't that weird?  It's so weird.  Ha ha haha.  Because it's actually the opposite of film.
I was trying to play around with famous monuments, but then this photo came out so weird.  Vaguely attractive but clearly weird.

Murky White

Look!  After like four days of running away from her responsibilities, Allyce is back!  I actually shot over the break but I didn't feel like posting it because that's so much work.  But I'm doing it anyways.  So dedication.

The sky is not blue.  The sky was white and cloudy, but it came out blue.  It looks cold, though, and it was cold, so I left it. I generally don't like to edit photos because then it's more likely that they're going to come out ugly after I upload them.

Since I'm a Tree Branch Sky photography expert, I would know that branches tend to look flat because you can't tell if they're far or near.  So I was trying to find a way to add interest to my sometimes flat pix of tree branches, and I did that by putting my gloved had in front of the lens a little to add that shadowy thing in the corner.  That's my finger in the corner.  My gloved finger.  And maybe it wasn't necessary in this shot because there's a plastic bag, and that makes it pretty three-dimensional.  But I did it anyways, and I think I like it better than I would have if it wasn't there.

For some reason the blacks in this photo came out gray.  Not sure why that is, and I"m also not sure why the lamp is reflecting in the air.  Weird.  Also that black thing is my finger again.

Horizons

Because it was dark and I didn't want to be pumping the ISO up to 100000000 I made the f-stop as big as possible.  I didn't anticipate it, but I ended up liking how blurry everything got behind these little water plant things.  I don't know what the right word is?

Look! We have three things in here of different brightnesses.  But there is balance between them.  Isn't that magical?  Don't you want to cry?

This is so nice to me.  This makes me feel so happy.  I can feel it in my soul.  That diagonal line.  I made the mistake before of thinking that the feeling in my soul was equal to any other factor in editing photos.  But I was wrong.  The only thing that matters is the feeling in my soul.

Purple skies, majesty

I have a lot of pictures of trees in the sky.  But I like this one because each branch is so defined.  They're not just flopping around trying to make their way through life.

I want more photos like this.  I like the little things t the bottom and suddenly this big wide open sky.

Blogger doesn't like to make blacks truly black.  It's weird.  Whatever blogger.

I was out in the windy cold cold and taking photos at like 4:30 and I was like, I can't feel my hands.  I'm going home.  So I started on my way and when I turned around the sky was like this.  So I had to run back and take more.  So dedicated.  Waoaw.

Horizontal images.  I feel that.  I think I really wanted to believe at one point that I could take good portraits but honestly that is not my job.  There are just some things that people are inclined to.  There is a feeling you get in your chest and that's how you know.
