Monochrome

I had to take a photo that matched the five words I used to describe the the photo below, which I found in a magazine: monochrome, textured, mysterious, empty, and shadowy.  
Why is it monochrome? Well, the only things in the photo are the gray-black shadows and the white wall.
Why is it textured?  You can see the bumpy lines on the siding and the papery texture to the wall below it.
Why is it mysterious?  We have this random hand that's reaching for what looks like some kind of plant, maybe a tree or a bush.  What is this person reaching for and why?  That's the whole mystery!
Why is it empty?  There's nothing really in theh photo except for a bunch of shadows on a wall.
Why is it shadowy?  Why esle?
